FAQ
General
How do I get an accurate quote?
Send the year, make, model or vessel details, clear photos, desired service and coverage, current condition, existing graphics or film, deadline, and branding files for commercial work. Better information produces a better estimate.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments required. Typical appointment availability is Monday–Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Please call or request an appointment before visiting, as shop availability varies by installation schedule.
Do you publish starting prices?
Yes. Selected starting prices are published to help with planning. Exact pricing follows a review of the vehicle, scope, material, surface, access, design, removal, and disassembly requirements.
FAQ
Commercial & Fleet
Can you work with our existing logo files?
Yes, if the files are production-ready. Low-resolution artwork may require cleanup or vectorization. If the brand itself needs work, logo or identity design can be scoped before the vehicle layout.
Can a fleet be installed in phases?
Often, yes. Vehicle quantity, availability, downtime, production batches, and the required completion date are reviewed before a phased schedule is proposed.
What happens when we add a different vehicle later?
Approved master production files and layout rules make future adaptation more consistent. A new body style still needs its own measurements and layout review.
FAQ
Marine
Why is marine work quoted separately?
Length alone does not describe rails, hull shape, hardware, access, oxidation, existing graphics, disassembly, trailer position, or the installation environment. These projects need real quotes, not a made-up flat menu.
What marine photos should I send?
Send full side views, bow and stern, close-ups of rails and hardware, current graphics, surface damage or oxidation, motor and trailer views when included, plus a photo showing how the vessel is positioned and accessed.
FAQ
Wraps, Paint & Removal
Can vinyl fix peeling paint or failing clear coat?
No. Vinyl is not bodywork. Unstable paint can affect adhesion and appearance, and removal may make an existing problem more visible or worse.
Are door jambs included in a color change?
Not by default. Standard exterior work covers the agreed visible outer surfaces. Door jambs and deeper inner areas are separate scope unless the written quote includes them.
Why does removal pricing vary so much?
Some film lifts in clean sheets. Some was apparently installed by Satan in July. Age, UV exposure, film quality, adhesive condition, cracking, repaint history, and the surface underneath can turn a straightforward removal into tiny-piece labor and chemical cleanup.
Does a wrap always protect paint?
No universal protection claim is made for color-change vinyl. Outcomes depend on the film, coverage, exposure, maintenance, installation, and the existing surface.
FAQ
Design
Do you offer unlimited design revisions?
No unlimited-revision promise is made. The estimate defines concepts, included revision rounds, proofing, and production-file preparation.
FAQ
Motorsports & Race Livery
Do you design race liveries or just install them?
Both, in-house. Livery design comes from a co-owner with advertising-agency experience, and installation is handled by a certified installer — the same shop that builds the design applies it.
Can you place sponsor logos to series and sanctioning-body rules?
Yes. Send the series, class, sponsor list, and any required markings or number rules, and placement is mapped to those requirements before proofing.
Can you handle mid-season sponsor additions or replacement panels?
Yes. Master files are retained for every livery, so replacement panels and added sponsors match the original. Work is scheduled around your race calendar, and dates are committed in writing.
How close are you to Road Atlanta?
Our Buford facility sits minutes from Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Racing clients are welcome by appointment.
FAQ
Scheduling, Deposits & Expectations
How long will the project take?
Timing depends on the service, vehicle or vessel, prep, design, production, removal, disassembly, cure time, and schedule. The approved quote should state the expected window for that project.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Projects require a 50% deposit before scheduling or production begins. Any project-specific payment terms will be included in the written quote.
Will the finished vehicle be flawless?
No serious shop should promise that. Wrap and PPF can look excellent, but they do not erase bodywork, repaint history, weak paint, pre-existing damage, or every visible edge and seam.
